Its been a while. How many years has it been since I've been on this site? That's not important. It's just good to see familiar faces. Me?? Well I don't even...I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm sober. Been sober a few weeks. However unfortunately my health continues to be like a roller coaster. I recovered from that God awful staph infection I had. Thank god. If you don't think opiate use can cause long term problems I'm here to tell you it does. What it's done to my immune system is crazy. I recently had a small bowel obstruction . How did that happen? Well what's the #1 side effect of narcotics? Constipation. So after having a garden hose shoved down my nose after I literally was vomiting up feces wasn't so much fun. I haven't touched anything since and am back on Cymbalta and Neurontin for long term pain management and my depression and I'm fine.  You could say I ran out that hospital door 3 days after that Sunday morning I woke up sick. I've had enough of hospitals this past 2 years and particularly 9 months. I also lost my job because of this. So I don't know anymore. I'm here. I'm OK. I'll be OK. It's good to see you all again. Kitties hubby and dog are well.

Wow youve been through a war huh? What exactly is Neurontin? Ive never heard of it. I currently take Suboxone.

Im doing well. The past few days have been good. I keep busy. Looking for a job again. Fired up the bikes last month been riding today some. Music helps me a lot. A LOT. Thank God for that. Thank God for a lot of things. Ty everyone again and ive missed you all!! Ill try and check in more often and slowly get re-active. Those of you that Ive known for a long time message me if you want and ill give you my facebook. Its easier that way.

I am SO glad you are still here. Sorry to hear about all the troubles you have had. I had my issues in the past couple of yrs from one heck of a detox to the brain finally flipping back around. I lost both parents, father-in-law and my precious Boy Whiteface and some friends all in a 90 day period starting in my 18month. Then in my 24 I found out I had 2 blocked arteries that lay over the Heart. I sure did stick close to this site as our MH Friends held my hand.
Now I have 2 stents and a New Ticking Heart. YES! YES! & YES! Drug or Alcohol use can cause SO much Physical & Mental damage.
I will Pray that all is going to go UP-HILL from here on out.

Welcome back my friend!!!  It was so nice to see this, minus the medical issues.  I hope you can get those under control and start to feel better.  Now that spring is here it is time to get back on that bike!!!!  Say hi to your hubby and give your babies a scratch/pat or extra treat from me!!

Hi Bkitty, gosh it's good to see you. You were here when I started this about 3 years ago, I guess.  My how time flies. I'm so sorry you've been through so much. I hope you will stick around and post.
