You will get support faster if it is in a Post, but you also will get replies when we catch your journals too. Keep up the good work. As you can see we come and go. Remember to give this all time to balance back..With time will come a lot of patience. So be good and go with it..You will get better & better as Time goes bye..

I just want to get the best experience I can out of this site & I can't even begin to tell you all how much inspired I am by seeing other peoples stories & seeing how TOUGH we are! We are AMAZING!!!
Everytime I post...even this, just to ask a question about the site...and you guys "brag" on me that I've asked a good question, something so small yet means so much! I feel like a child, being hugged & patted on the back everytime you all are so kind to me!
Awesome question... I think NG described it perfectly..
Journals are an awesome way to track your progress & also allows others to follow your story if you want them to! The great thing about your journals is that YOU control the privacy.. Some things you may want to share with everyone, others, with just your friends, & somethings you may just want to keep to yourself! It's ALL good.. Whatever is BEST for YOU...
As for posting a new thread their are no set rules but I think Nursegirl gave you a good rule of thumb to follow...
I just KNOW your going to do GREAT!
There's no exact right or wrong way to do it, but IMO it's better to keep updates to one thread as much as you can. If you notice that the thread is getting long (like 100 replies or so), then you can start a "Part 2" kind of thread.
If you have a new question, or something different to ask that may not fit in your running update thread, then start a new one. Also, sometimes people prefer to use the journal feature rather than having a thread on the forum. It's your choice. Journals are set to a default "public" view, so everyone will be able to see them and comment on them. At any time, you can change a journal's viewing parameters to "private", or "friends only" I believe.
I think journals are nice to document the process because they are usually easier found down the line by someone coming to the forum. That way, LONG after you're clean, people will still benefit by reading your story. A journal could be used for your progress updates, and if you have more specific questions, then a thread in the forum could be started. Again, totally up to you, play around with both and see what you prefer.
It was cool of you to ask, it's tough getting used to a new site, and often times, people just try to wing it on their own. The very best to you in your journey! I'll be following along for sure, I'm cheering for you!
