Help needed! On day 4

I've never posted but have been reading for months. I'm on day 4 cold turkey from 30-45mg Percocet a day. Haven't had too bad symptoms but I feel like I'm carrying a 2 ton weight when I try to get up to do anything! Just hoping for some encouragement.

Your welcome Bee!  Cravings pass. Redirect yourself and do something else when it hits. They will get less and less. Good thing there are no pills in the house.  Glad you flushed girl cause people who hold on to drugs always relapse.  I know I would have! Have fun at the meeting, glad you are well enough to go! Happy day 4! You're amazing!

Sure you can call me bee and I'll call you 29.   :-)  I'm feeling much better today. I actually slept for 4 hours before waking up sweating. Changed the sheets and jammies and was able to go back to sleep for another hour. I was able to eat some scrambled eggs and a piece of toast this morning without running to the bathroom! So the diarrhea and rls seem to be easing up. I just wish these terrible cravings would go away. Yes, I do go to NA. I think I feel well enough today to go to my meeting this evening. I had a hard time finding an NA meeting where the language wasn't filthy. This group  includes God and scripture readings which is very important to me. So thanks for checking in 29. Have a good day to all! Bless you MsD. You pointed me in the right direction, (which was into my bathroom)  ;0}   I couldn't have done it without you!!!!

Hiya Stung!
Just dropped by to join the cheerleading team! Go Stung! You're awesome! How are you feeling? Once the bathroom issues settle down, you'll be ready to head back to meetings. Do you go to NA? Believe it or not, although I am definitely an addict, I found it easier to relate at AA meetings, and the language tended to be more G rated. In AA, the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Take me advice: develop this desire! You may feel more like you fit in. Alcohol is just another drug—a wet and slimy one—so really everything else is the same.
Anyhow! Go....STUNG!
Your fan,
Marc
PS: do you have another name I could call you? Like maybe Bee?

Lol.  Yes dreams like yours are very common in early detox. I know its disturbing but yours are hilarious!! This will pass soon.  I think you may be over the hump already since you initially detoxed 3 weeks ago. You're doing great.

Well I have made it through a few more hours. I ate a single serving of applesauce and have munched on some goldfish crackers. Bought some lo cal green Gatorade and have been able to drink a good amount of it. Also bought some Silk vanilla soy milk. I know it sounds gross but it tastes like drinking melted vanilla ice cream. Also loaded with protein and other good stuff! I think I'm doing better except for these darn cravings and crazy dreams!! This is going to sound silly but I'm going to say it anyway. I dreamt I was in my bed and their was a mobile hanging over me, like what you hang over a baby bed. Except instead of having cute little animals on it, mine had big white pills and the word "PERCOCET " hanging on it! Does anyone else have these crazy dreams? Have a good night all.
