any remedies for that withdrawl smell & taste

ive been detoxing off methadone now, after 14yrs, beginning on my 4th week.  i would probably be okay if it weren't for this wierd smell that you can't even begin to explain & anyone going thru withdrwls or detox probably knows what i'm talking about.  the smell is whats making me sick to my stomach & constantly making me want to barf my guts out.  have been dealing with this now for the 3rd week & i can't eat either because nothing tastes right not even soup.  when does this godawful thing go away & is there anything at all you can do to deter or suppress it or something?  thanks for your help.

When I read smell, all I kept thinking was, well, i could smell myself...and THAT was horrible!!! I was sweating and excreting so much...it was horrible, Lol!!! And I know I took at least 3/4 Epsom salt bathes a day while w/ding!

I wish I could tell you something that would help besides time :-( I didn't smell anything bad but my sense of smell was and is extremely strong to the point that almost any smell makes me want to hold my nose. The only thing that has helped me is getting some all-natural aromatherapy sprays that weren't very strong that also had therapeutic properties and spray around me occasionally. As far as eating I've read to not force yourself if you don't feel like it. just get a protein shake and down it.
