I have been cold turkey of hydrocodone for 3 days now. I was taking 2-3 7.5s a few times a day. My withdrawals haven't been terrible. I have been sleeping fine with out taking any medicine for sleep. Have taken Imodium A.D which has helped with stomach issues. Worked out yesterday and it felt good! I still have thoughts about using so in trying to stay busy but I just found out that I am having my wisdom teeth removed next Thursday. And the doctor will be prescribing me hydrocodone 7.5s. I will have 14 of them just enough to get through a couple days. And will be on day 15 of not using. Will that reset my withdrawals? I'm super worried!!

Thank you!! They said that I will need the pills because mine are severe and will involve a lot of cutting! I can handle minor withdrawals because so far the worst of this year long usage for me has been bathroom issues which are taken care of with Imodium thanks for the advice will keep ya posted on how it's going! I refuse to relapse!!

Congrats on your 3 days! That's awesome! Ugh, that really stinks that you have to get your wisdom teeth out. I would avoid taking the pain pills and ask for strong ibprofin (like 800 mg) instead. I wouldn't want to risk the w/ds again and because you would be taking them so soon into your clean time they very well may make you experience slight w/ds again. Good luck and, again, congrats on getting clean! That is awesome!

Ok I will do that! I am having my mom give them to me after surgery! And will only take as needed and as prescribed! I just don't won't withdrawals to come back!

Hey! Congrats on your clean time!! When you get that rx take them as prescribed and ONLY IF/WHEN you. Need them! If you can give them to someone you trust and let them administer them to you as needed and u should be ok!
