LOL! I always start out thinking i"m not that hungry and eat waaay more than I thought I could! In 12 days I've gained a few pounds myself. Count me in this club. :)
Hi Fullcircle , Congrat's on your 79 days . Eating like a horse , Me to i gained 18 lb's back in 3 months . Thanks Jack in the box & Mc Donalds .. Ron
Well I thought it was from the Lyrica I am prescribed now but maybe not.
I can't get enough to eat either.
Congrats on your clean time.
After the initial weight loss from the withdrawal it is very, very common to crave sweets, over eat and gain weight. My daughter has always been very small and thin at 5' and 95 lbs even before she used opiates . She has been clean for 3 months and has gained 30 lbs from size 0 to size 8. Try to limit your carb intake and start exercising.

Same problem here. It's blood sugar for me anyways. I loss about 6-10 lbs over a 3 week period going through WDs, which I saw as a good perk. Now my fat cells are screaming to get re-filled! So I avoid simple carbs like sugary food. If I have a Fiber One Oats and Chocolate Bar (sounds healthy-yum), less than an hour later I'm hungry again. It's the sugar carbs. They spike my blood-sugar. Foods that are fibrous and made up of "complex" carbohydrates have a very slow gradual affect on my blood sugar. I make sure I have a good breakfast, with good protein like eggs, a trick I learned from Weight Watchers. The protein satisfies hunger without sending me to the fridge (or my huge CostCo box of Fiber One bars) within the hour.
Are you on any other meds?
