Hey GB906 - I realize your post is over a year old and I am REALLY hopeful that things have improved for you and you found what you were looking for.
Just wanted to let you know that I have taken Ibogaine - actually it was last year in June, just before your post. If you're still interested in hearing more about it send me a note at ***@****. - Nic
FYI - Heroin, Oxy and Suboxone user for over a decade.
THANK YOU all for the input! I don't think the one I received was real! And I am looking for quick fix, out of withdrawal and right back to life which is impossible, no doubt! I am glad I didn't have to waste anymore money! I will cont. to work hard at my recovery. THANK YOU! NAMASTE!
I waited 3 1/2 months the first time from methadone before doing the ibogaine, second time I stopped methadone for 6 months, both same results, hit by a truck the next few days. It does not work for methadone or similar high life meds. Am only 24 and I believe thats why I did not die, because the amount if ibogaine given me to was intense, they upped my doses every couple of hours as I wasnt feeling much, just a little nasuseas but not enough to give me a trip.. I did mines in Mexico, it has good rep, but only for heroin addicts, even then they still face the aftermath..
My advice its not worh it and its similar to a scam or close. Doesnt work.
I tried it but didnt work for withdrawals, or were they PAWS? actually I have done it twice, it only gets rids of sweats in my experience. The aftermath you still have to deal with, and that is the main problem coming off substances..Its also very scary because I ended up at the E.R, heart was racing, could have died. I saw 3 bodies in the clinic, all had their heart tested and were fine, but still died, that scared me. There have been dozens or so deaths the last 4 months, Lord knows how many more.
Overall it does not work the way you want it to work, when it wears off your back to square 1. Rapid detox is much better because at least it strips away substances off your receptors, the ibogaine simply gives you bad experience.

I am a street 150-250 mgs methadone addict in recovery for about a year. I used buprenorphine for a 21 day taper to detox. It took 6 months to feel pretty stable, but I'm still improving. The ibogaine may have inspired me to keep going similar to the Subutex, but I doubt anything can make methadone PAWS vanish all at once. Fast acting opiates, like heroine or morphine, are what most of the research has been done on. Amphetamine and cocaine are the other two clinical test subjects, and minimally with those. Ibogaine has not come to maturity yet, just work a program and do whatever it takes to detox. God bless YOU, every ONE!
