If I do (have) to switch to methadone from Sub's will I be able to taper as easy as Sub's?

So thats the Q? I have been taking the Sub's for over 2 weeks and have (found) myself tapering less and less cause it's working! Only (Subutex) not Suboxone! But cant get anymore Subutex Due to the insurance! Only option is methadone! Will I be able to taper as easy as the Subutex? Once again have taking methadone in the past alot to stop being dope sick and have never been close to have to relay on it! Any respones's would really help! 2 days till next app. So that's my deadline! Back on Suboxone and sidesffects continue!! WHY!!!!!!!!!

Meth is ALOT harder to taper off. It has a longer half life (24-36hrs) than any other opiate based drug-even heroin , so this means the withdrawals are more severe and last longer (apparantly). I'm on meth and am tapering down to get low enough to switch over to either subutex or suboxone , because they r easier to get off. In my opinion , it would not be a great idea to go from sub to meth, kinda like a step up in strength.Meth *****. And the smaller the dose , the harder it is to get off , ******* it is.
Good luck :)
