If you craving you need to get your na book and start reading addicts stories what to do when craving my sponsor said read till the craving gets better and to call someone in na or him its better to have a sponsor that way when craving call him or her we say its better for a man to have a male sponsor and a woman to have a female sponsor that way you want get attracted to them.  And if your single no relationships the first year.  Hang in there.

all I can say, is stay with it.
I didn't think I could get through it either. Like everyone on here says, the first 5-7 days are the worst.  They aren't kidding....
I walked a ton this last week, that helped...and my dog loved it...

I also find if I am hungry or upset about something I start to crave.  Keeping busy is really important.  Hang in there!

I found that if I was hungry..my cravings seemed to be there as well.  I started eating small stuff...a banana, some crackers, a few grapes.  Anything to quell the hunger and the drug cravings seemed to go away as well.
Good luck!

Exactly....you get to choose to live, not the addiction. This really is a choice on a daily basis.
We must keep our minds and bodies busy!

Using is NOT an option.  Get yourself really busy.  Cravings suk the big one but you are in charge of you now, not your addiction.  You can and will get thru this!       sara

Thanks! I think I'm going to get up and out of this house. I'm not going to let this addiction get the best of me, I keep telling my "I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to let the addiction win" All of the support helps A LOT. Thanks again :)

Hi there, I just want to tell you that your not alone. The cravings suck! Your addiction wants you to use. This is all part of the WD. I just breath and focus on something else. It will pass and then it will come up again and then you breath and focus on something else...over and over and over.
I still crave because I really loved my buzz. That's the truth and the truth shall set us free.
Your not alone. Your not trying, your doing!
Some people never have cravings. Who knows why. But it's what we do that counts.
