Thank you so much! I did what you said and I slept for almost 3 hours. Woke up feeling pretty yucky but I'm ok. Looked at my tracker and it officially says 4 days clean. It inspired me. I am going to find N/A meeting today, not waiting till monday as originally planned. I live in Upstate N.Y. and it is suppose to be high 40's today so I am going to force myself outside today. Going for a long walk in the country with my faithful four-legged friend. Going to go get some of the suggested stuff like protein shakes and B vitamins later.
I'm so happy to hear that my story can give one the strength to get through this.

Also, you may want to bring a friend with you tomorrow. Is there anyone you can call? Listen to gnarly, concentrating on your breathing, slow, controlled breaths can go a long way.
HI well try this.....go out to the couch...put on some soft music and roll up in a blanket....try controlled breathing...inhail and say relax exhail and say sleep slow your breathing down and you will go into a state of deep rest you probable wont sleep and that ok but you will go into a deep rest and this will help...your going to make it here take it 1min at a time 1 truns into 5 into 30 then into hours this will not last forever just dont pick up no mater what........Gnarly

Thank you. Seems like the only friend I have right now is my dog and they won't let him in the store. haha. Right now not being able to go to the store doesn't seem so important. Having a really bad night. Taking all my concentration not to lose my mind. Even trying to sit here and type is just too much...
HI well it was a panic anxiety attack...it will freak you out but it wont hurt you and is very very common wile detoxing it can last a wile but will go away your not going to be this way for long so hang in there try going at a different time of day make sure your blood sugar is ok by eating b/4 you go so many people over look this and it can make all the differences try having some camimill tea b/4 going and take a friend if you can other then that you just have to push threw it and know it will get better....also remember to pray for strength b/4 you go.....Gnarly

I'm new here. Been on for a month. I'm a month clean and i still get panic attacks when out in public. Clonidine is the only thing I'm still taking to help me with that but I still have it...it just help take that edge off. Just driving out to see my doctor was really tough but you just gotta push yourself to do it. I just try to do and get what I need as quick as I can then I rush home. Maybe ask your doctor if they have any med that could help calm you down but not make you drowsy?
