Just my luck

So I thought I had the flu yesterday. I was wrong. Today near my injection site on my lower right side it feels like someone is rubbing sand paper on it. It hurts so bad. Almost raw feeling my skin just in that area. Called my pain doctor because something isn't right. I'm running a fever and blood pressure and pulse is high. She did my urine drug screen which showed up negative because its been 10 days without them. She took my blood too. She isn't my normal doctor just the one that could see me today. She said for me to begin antibiotics and she called those in. She told me I still need to come the 19th to see my regular doctor.

Doesn't sound right Ashley.  Glad you went in to see her and that she ran some test. Good you're on antibiotics. Keep the faith and keep an eye on your vitals like Sarah said.

Please keep a close watch on this.  If your fever gets real high you get into the ER.  Let us know how you are doing~
