Just a question for everyone

I would like to from everyone, when was the day when you started to feel better. What day did you start getting your energy back? Sleep? Everything? How long did you use and when did you start feeling better? I need a timeline of when I'm going to start feeling better. I know knowing when I could start feeling better energy wise could help make this much more manageable. Please help or tell me your story if you can. I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you to all!!

I can give you what I went thru and how long it took me.. but that is just me.. and everyone is different... So here goes...

I was taking 8-10 Norco a day x's 3 years (for 2 back surgeries, spinal stenosis, DDD and Fibro) and quit CT on July 31st... I didn't start to feel better for about 3 weeks...(i.e. my legs quit moving.. I was able to get 6 hours of sleep a night, less anxious, less racing thoughts, etc) It seemed like a long time but in retrospect it wasn't that long...

Hope this helps you with your time line....I am also a person who needs to know HOW LONG... ???

Of note: When I was in the TROLLS of my withdrawl, I asked a dear friend how long I was gonna feel like poop.. and they said to me:  "Honey... you will feel better...SOON"

My "soon" finally came and I hope and pray that your 'soon' shows up SOON!

Warm Wishes and lots of support your way!

Hi!  To your question it depends on what you are on and for how long. I know myself coming off of 240mg of oxs was a ***** my legs hurt for a good 6 months and its been over a year. Please dont do what i did though my pain came back and i just went from being on lortab four 4 months taking 15-20 to methadone. I dont know much about methadone. I just know its not killing my pain by itself!

Those are really tough questions to answer because everyone is different and it really depends a lot on what you were taking, how much and for how long. I personally was taking about 80-100mg. of vic's daily for several years. I started to feel a little better on day 3-4, but also tried to stay very focused on the positive because I am truly sick to death of waking up and thinking about how many I have left and when I can get my refills, and blah blah blah....it was all about the pills. Hang in there and try to take one day at a time. Give yourself some credit that you CAN do this. And mostly post and read a lot here it really helps.
