Lesa is 11 months clean of pain meds today

Lesa,

You a a true inspiration to a lot of us if not all of us. You are always there for the weakest with words full of wisdom. You are the most loving and caring person and even when you kick some butt you do it in a nice way. lol
You are helping more than you will ever imagine.

Lately you had a surgery, a shoulder replacement and you went thru without complaining and with such strength, simply unbelievable.

You are a very gracious lady Lesa. Thank you so much for being the true person you are, so rare these days.

Ahhh You guys are all so very kind with your words.. Thank you and I truly mean it.. Sunshine this was so very sweet and thoughtful of you !! and yes I was Happy Dancing in the redwoods (pics to follow :) I'm hurt tired gary is hurt and tired the dogs are passed out lol but I believe I have found that much needed balance that I was searching for. after the surgery the shoulder replacement having to take meds even with gary holding them it was difficult.. My Surgeon commented the wd gods did not spare you ?? Nope they did not !! It was not the physical but the emotional that I was having difficulties with.. the pain has not helped but has mellowed to a dull roar occasionally.. like I tried to tell nauty it was like my thoughts and tongue were stuck.. Sophie I got the book walking the tiger :)) anyway.. 11 months Whoo Hooo almost a year !! This is the very first time in my Drug Addiction of over 3 decades I'm Clean by my Choice and Desire.. It is truly awesome.. I never thought I would want this for myself as I had convinced myself that I deserved no better that Happiness was truly unattainable.. that I was a product of my past it ruled my present and future.. lil over 3 years ago I stepped into my psychiatrist office with a broken spirit and a dying body.. in the year I had saw him he helped me to catch a glimmer of something I thought I had lost as a child.. hope innocents and Beauty.. Love. that even I was worthy of love.. Thank you to Him my Family and to all my MH family for without you 3 I do not think I would be where I'm today.. Thank you so very much.. warmly lesa

Congrats on 11 months Lesa.  I have to agree with everything Sophie said.....And More.  You graciously listened to all of my "moving, Mexico, and life drama and helped me more than you will ever know.  You did kick my butt in such a kind way, and I thank you for that.  I don't listen to the bull.  You are an amazing person.  A true needle in a haystack, sounds corny but I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart.

That's a lot more than can be said about most people. I hope you're finding the most joy out of your days, you really deserve it. Congrats on 11 months!!
