Light Headed..

Today is my 11th day since quitting use of Oxy, Marijuana and tobacco. Yesterday night I got up from my computer chair to get a drink and started to get light headed as I was walking down the hallway. When I sat back down I got the sweats. I'm pretty sure I wasn't dehydrated or starving as I had eaten and had fluids all day. Took my blood pressure and it was 125/70 so pretty much normal there. Thought I would be able to sleep it off, but I woke up this morning with it still there. Just feel as if my head is lighter than my body. My question is, is this normal? Or should I be going to the hospital..

In case its needed. Had used Oxy for a month or so, Marijuana for 5 years and only used tobacco when smoking cannabis, ie. Blunts for the past 2 years or so..

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there & Welcome,

Congratulations on stopping all three drugs!

The lightheadedness you describe could be caused by the extra Oxygen your system is now receiving without the pot or tobbacco. Here's a link that might help you out describing the symptoms of Marijuana detox:

Hope this helped. :)
