Merry Christmas~

I wanted to take this time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas.  Holidays can be very bittersweet for many of us.  Please stay close to those who support you.  Find healthy sober activities as we have choices so make good ones.  If you start to feel overwhelmed take a step back and take some deep breaths.  We have much to be grateful for so dont lose sight of that.  We have been given a 2nd chance.  The forum is open 24 hrs a day also.  My wish for you all is to have a very blessed holiday filled with love and sobriety~  sara

I LOVE not having to WD during the holidays because I usually have time off around now, which is the way it's been the past 6 out of 7 years. This is soooooo much better!

Hi,.....I would also like to wish every body a Merry Christmas....I agree whole heatedly with Sarh ...this time a year is full of joy as well as full of obsticals for the addict...often wine and alachol flow during the Holiday season....just know this alachol is a drug....after being in the rooms of N/A  many addicts that relapsed started with just one drink  surround your self with clean people and please dont take that first drink  we can all get there this Holiday clean.......Gnarly
