66 days update

and exhausted!  Have been doing great, but this evening I have NO energy!  I could fall asleep at anytime!  Guess the good news is I can sleep at least 4 hours before I wake up!  Wondering if the exhaustion is residual withdrawal or if I just did too much??  Anyway, maybe I just did too much today and I am not used to it!  :)

To all of you our there trying to quit and waiting for it to get better.  I promise you it will.  I am learning what it is to be me again and it is pretty amazing and a whole lotta scary!

Congrats are indeed in order!! 66 days is AWESOME. I completely get the exhaustion deal as I am only at 22 days and some days are much more of a struggle than others. As for the "re-introduction" to yourself, it is nice to be able to look in the mirror and not have to try and lie to yourself about using...I am finding that to be more rewarding as each day passes...just wanted to express my gratitude for those of you that helped me begin this leg of my journey to re-discover myself without the opiates....it really is worth doing.....so to any of you out there contemplating taking the first step back to sobriety...you are equally as strong as any of us....so why not make an investment in your health and happiness??? It really can be done..promise........peace and prayers.....

Thanks everyone...thanks Dane...I know you are going thru it and am so proud of you for that!   I have to say the days do get better.   Do I like my authentic self??  ...well, I am getting there.  If you can't like yourself..then who can.  It is a journey and one I am willing to take!

It is a pretty amazing journey that no one can take for you.

I hate to be the devil's advocate (but I am right now) ...what if you get to know the "authentic self" & realize that's why you need the mask of addiction...because you really don't like or love who you are??
