HELP GETTING OFF PERCOCET'S!!!!

i havent had a percocet or any other type of pain killer for 3 days. i was on and off them for a good year now . i didnt get on them for pleasure. i had lots of surgeries and had to  take them for pain then i slowly became addicted. :( my pain managment person gave me klonopins to help me sleep and they barelyy cut the edge. i was wondering if anyone knew any other meds to help with the withdrawls and sleeping at night AND how long do these withdrawls last. like how long the shaking last, and not being able to sleep ect. i need help. im doing this all on my own w/o rehab cause i believe ic an do it i was just wondering if anyone had any good advice :)

it starts to get better at about 7 days for most.  there really isnt a magic day everybody is different.  but it does get better.  i promise.

do you know how long the worst of it will be over?? mainly the twitching, being ancy, and insomnia

great choice to take your life back.. the w/ds will last about 7 days on average.  3 n 4 being the worst.  eat banans for the rls and hot baths help.  i take and all natural sleep aid from gnc called sleep formula and it works for me.  you can do this.  just hang on tight.  keep posting you will find this forum a life saver.  it is late so you mite not get many post til morning.  good luck and if you need anything or have ??'s just pm me

Welcome to the forum and Good Job on day 3! Lots of fluids and Immodium as needed. Eat lots of bananas. Hot baths with Epsom salts.
