How long does Subutex stay in the baby when you're pregnant? I know they test the baby as well as the mother now...

yes she does. the doctor and the hospital need to be prepared to help the baby with the withdrawal. the baby will have to stay in the nicu for awhile after the birth. they will need to wean the baby off the subutex.

is she is getting from a doctor or a clinic? subutex is safe to use during pregnancy. the baby will go through withdrawals at birth.
the meconium (the babys poop) starts to form from the 16th week of pregnancy on. everything that was introduced into the baby will be stored there. they many times test it, especially if the mom has a drug history, hasn't had proper pre-natal care or if she tests positive for substances.
