Hater here!!! How's it going? Off completely? Husband has been on sub 4 years too long with adderall and work knows and he's in the spotlight. At 2/2mg of sub and 2/20mg of adderall. Quit cold for maybe 7 days terrible then back to psych we fired and has been hiding use for 2 months now. Of course I m always suspicious always know deep down but prayed and hoped this was it but it's a dagger to the heart when u see the proof after all the lies. Been to one counselor tried to get into impatient wasn't severe enough I should of explained moreand fought harder for him to stay there but I was relieved I wouldn't have to man our brood of four alone for however long it took, even though that's what it feels like anyway he's here just rarely involved. He is a great guy, and my better half and I know he's dealing with so much but work is trying to help asking weekly what our treatment plans are and I don't have answers or steps to start when I've told them he's been clean so now anytime esp 6 months+ The doctors want you to take is way too long to come off when ur out of lives at work. We started this trek in May and now we are mostly back to that same place minus the Xanax which was replaced with trazadone for sleep help when I thought he was done and still suffering W/d. know it's gotta be slow but our immediate family has dealt with for too long. It's a big secret though I'm very sure many more people are aware. I know these days are the best he's been but it's a drugged version no matter which way u spin it and I'm tired, I'm sad, I'm terrified and want him to get help and to find one other person who's been there he's tried it alone, tried it with me doling out doses tried it cold and still. If he's not off or appear to be completely clear at work on a very small dose of only one  med instead of 3 by sept he will lose our only income for fam of 6 I stress all the time have been patient for years and angry too. Love him dearly and fear the damage he's already done with this and years of other pills he kicked thosse why not these? I just want my guy free of these freaking chains that have held him for so long. Hasn't thrown himself into the therapy world or meetings, always some excuse it's not for me I'm trying to get out of the boat not stay in but we've been to a few sessions together. If you can offer any advice how u got down to even 1 mg would be so grateful. Thx for the listen good luck thx for sharing

LMFAO!!!!  OMG....I'm so with ya on the lethargic, no energy part. But I think that's with any w/d.  Every time you go down in mg your gonna feel a little something, just not as bad as if you quit it cold.  This is part of the reason I didn't taper, either suck it up and feel crappy for a couple of weeks or feel somewhat crappy for a couple of years??? Uh, hell no! While your reducing, tapering, your gonna feel smaller versions of the same effects.  Try taking a good multivitamin (w/ iron) and the L-tyrosine (GNC) of which you can take that up to 4000 mg a day w/ the vit b6.  It's freakin hard, suboxone is no joke.  And the longer your on it, the harder it is to come off.  If you taper, it should be as painless as possible, but it take a loooonnnng time to do it that way.  Totally up to you as to how you want to do it.

All those things you described is what WE ALL go through during are detox. No Matter what we use.. It goes in stages and one being the no sleep & no energy. We have many that takes different things to get going and to help with sleep.  It is just that Subs, Trams and Methadone are the most synthetic ones on the market..This being is why it takes a bit longer..You are doing it right..Slow and Easy and let your Brain & Body get used to each drop.
It has been kind of slow out here..So just keep checking in and some will chime in..I had a small experience with the Subs after my Dones but I did it so completely wrong..

Any1 that's gone through Suboxone detox successfully, and is now sober. Could you'll please answer me a few personal questions? I'm trying to get answers, that I think a lot of sub users wanna know, But are hard to find.  I Know everyone is different but looking to sort of be practical here. Prepare for the worst and except the best.! Hate reading the horror story's, I stop reading once it goes bad to worst. But I need some postive outcomes, if there's any?

How long we're u on the subs?  Long term??? Or short term
And how long on opioids in general?
How low on the subs before u jumped?
How many nights did u go before finally falling asleep?
How long did it take for that awful depression stage to pass, If it has?
Is your Natural energy back?
Do you feel like your old self again, yet?  How long until u did?
Like self motivation, laughing, just overall feeling of living in the moment again, happyness, etc..

Living in the moment again, Not feeling like a living zombie is what's the biggest motivation for myself for this sobriety.
Anyone reading this, Your time is So SO Very Much Appreciated.
CONGRATS TO YOUR SOBRIETY, may not know ya but know what u had to do to get where ur at. So hi-five✋! Lol seriously though Mad props!!!!

Been on all kinds of sites like this and never signed up to ask questions. Wanna thx every1 who's givin me a response. It means so So Much to me.

I've been on subs for 3years, still cannot believe I'm Finally down to 1mg! I'm currently getting the light Mental wd's at night. (You know where it's there but mentally u can shut it off) is this a good sign or am I rushing this? Any advice

Wondering if I'm the only 1 that gets extremely tired, lethargic by the middle of the day? I'm talking no energy. I'm forcing myself to keep pushing through the day that's my biggest problem, I want so badly to take like a .25mg spec, But I know that'll ruin my ultimate goal. So wondering if there's anything anybody has taken for energy? Besides vitamins like niacin, or adderall (hate adderall) is there anything that can help me get through my days?
I'm gonna be struggling to get down to .05  or even .25. Not sure it's even doable. I've learned it seems to be vital that we get as low as possible before jumping. At least for the long term users. Got a feeling I'm gonna have some series P.A.W.S when I'm finally sober. Very thankful for any response

Congratulations for your taper and goals. I am on day 14 of coming off of 2mg of the devil's concoction, suboxen (that rhymes!), and actually this ain't no joke. I apparently am very susceptible to whatever garbage I ingest. This I know is good because I cannot afford the subs as well as endure the pain it has caused. Want a buddy, I'm here lurking.  I'm not through this yet but I went to Detox for 5 days and they rapidly took me off the poison. I understand it is easier when you titrate under supervision. Keep up the good work. It ain't easy but boy we sure could do a lot to get our DOC even when dope sick. Think about it. Good luck and many blessings.

I am on day 18 without subs. Ive had no withdrawal symptoms to speak of. I was on subs for 6 years! I would say to taper lower than .25. You want to get down to about .05mg. And a slow taper definitely helped me! If you need help PM me. Good luck!!!! You can do it!!!! :)

Lol....loved your title! I just detoxed off of subs in January but from a much higher dose. To have someone to share thoughts with, as the thoughts will be assinine, is a good idea! Hang tight, I'm sure there are some sub users that have been lurking, LOL. Definatly get to the lowest dose possible before u jump! Good luck!
