1 month chip
I got to go to a meeting today & get my 1 month chip. I feel much better.
I am so grateful to GOD, this site, all of you, & my AA group.
I'm mostly feeling good only an occasional wave of withdrawal.
It's amazing to realize just how numb I've been for 7 years.
I could not be happier I went ahead & did this. You'll gave me the courage to try this.
Now it's "I'm going to" do this.
If your new & going through acute wd keep posting, keep hanging on, & get some program of aftercare.
Don't be hard on yourself; give yourself a break & take the simple way out.
Recovery is a lot less tiring than trying to figure out if I have enough until my next refill & just waiting to die.
Choose life, choose joy!!!
