Whats up with this ?

I have been taking Norco for maybe 4 years for pain 6-10 a day due to two bulged disks at L4 and L5 the pain was traveling all the way down my leg into my ankle not fun along with numbness in my foot makes walking sometimes difficult always tripping on stuff because I cant feel my foot anyways. I have quit numerous times in the past and went through terrible wds mainly not sleeping it really wiped me out but this time I tapered down for about 2 weeks never took a pill untill late in the evening "2 "max then just stopped its day 3 no symptoms whats the deal I really feel ok the only thing thats different this time I planned ahead got some L-Trylosine and some Lunesta to help with sleeping the results have been awesome has anyone else had similar results ?

Oh yea I have been in the pool swimming and doing pool rolls in my kayak to keep me moving and drinking a fair amount of ammodium AD.

I have spoken with the behavioral health dept at the hospital when I was taking the same as you and they told me I could get off the pills by cutting down everyday.  All they said was to get some immodium.  Looks like you caught the problem before it was too big!  Good Job on the recovery!!!!

Wow!  Count your blessings.  Some people do get as lucky as you.

Perhaps it because you tapered, and got aid for sleep and the LTyronine for energy and to keep you focused.

I'm sure people in detox suffering real bad aren't crazy about reading your post.

I had a girlfriend that quit c/t and all she had was the bathroom issue one time and nothing else.  Geeze!

you are LUCKY! I'm quitting norco on august 24th..and not looking forward to being sick! I'm pretty sure I'll be sick..I've taken about the same amount for about the same amount of time as you. Your mind has a lot of control over this, maybe you were just mentally READY. I quit a couple times, and still carried on w/ life as if nothing were wrong, other times got very sick. I'll let you know how I feel in 12 days! good luck to you! :)
