My son nodded off daily, brief in and out, if I called his name he would lift his head and respond, nod off again. .. maybe boarder line ?
Od's you won't mistake, will not respond, skin color pale, lips gray blue tint, very shallow breathing.
ohhh...I hope that helps.
Either way, not a good place to be
When someone is nodding they are experiencing an overdose. I just completed my narcan training and learned this.

I agree w/ lifepercs and by my own exp. the one is taking too much.
Hmm, my experience with Oc's is that it is not necissarily sign of Overdose....Lots of folks who do Oc's (abuse them primarily) will do the old fade right out of a conversation and nod right back into it.... Maybe a sign that one is taking too much, but not really full blown OD ing. You willl know when someone has Od'd, you will never forget it either....but I must also say, fading out, is not a good thing...good luck toyou
i don t think nodding off is a sign off overdose but it can happen when using. i used to nod off every night around 6 pm....just for about 30 minutes.
I know that when I was taking Norco, I would get energy, then a little while later get sleepy. The pamphlet that comes with the RX says it can make you drowsy and not to drive or operate machinery so I think it's just a side effect.
opiates. like opana's...oxy's...all of them.
Not necessarily...it may be a sign that a person took too much tho..narcotics rev some people up..others get sleepy...was it a benzo or what drug r u referring too? I automatically though narcs but it could be sumpin else u r speaking of
