Has anyone heard or know anything about the Rational Recovery AVRT (Addictive Voice Recognition Therapy) which came about in or around 1995. If so any thoughts on the success?

Bought the book.It could only be downloaded on line. Inspirational reading, like new-age litterature, self-help books and positive thinking.
Very up-lifting while you read them, but somehow they just don't work...................?!
