Relapse

Hello, friends. I wanted to post tonight because I had a pretty significant relapse yesterday. The good news is that I had a plan in place and no longer have access to my drug of choice. The bad news is that when things like this happen, I really worry about the impact it has on my relationships. I know it must be difficult for friends of addicts, and I see that with my friend. How do you all navigate having healthier relationships as you get sobriety time, and also as you experience occasional relapse?

When i got clean i had to do away with people i used with. Including family members. The friends i associate with now are clean and in rcovery.

Relapse has not been a part of my story since i started 6 yrs ago but i know many that have. You pick yourself up, and try again. If i may ask....how did you relapse?
