65 days no opiates!!! I was on 4 a day for 4 years take some or leave some....never have I gotten this far nor really tried til now. It is  my CONSCIOUS effort to say NO, I do not want to damage my brain anymore with those things!! Wanting it is almost the full battle. I have been offered them a few times and turned them down gracefully and happily. It is just not worth it.
I was feeling PAWS pretty bad until I went to a music gathering over Halloween weekend, and I came out of that with my mind in a new way. There have been moments of craving, but not that bad. It passes. Occupying my mind really helps by getting out and having fun or being a part of something. I feel the PAWS much less now even tho I am prepared to feel them again (and I have, they just get milder and milder).
I am feeling lifes REAL rollercoaster come back and for me thats a great thing. I am remembering what it's like to have DISCONTENT and want things to be better. I do have to take the time to meditate on that and know that some discontent is good for motivation and change, but too much can lead to depression. I have to natually make myself feel totally in the NOW and thats hard when I have used norcos to do that for so many years. Breathing and vitamns and excercise, good diet and support, and feeling those REAL DREAMS come back (day ones and night ones) keeps me on the road to recovery.

My biggest PAWS issue has been fatigue. Funny, I have been sleeping like a freakin ROCK since week 3. I am the opposite of a lot of you, instead of having sleep issues, its like I sleep too  much.....and I wake up a little tired after sleeping for 11 hours. I really want to CUT BACK on my sleeping, weird, huh?
Other than that, without the use of prescription drugs, I have battled the anxiety and most of the cravings and the physical stuff.

BIG UPS to everyone, blessings and congrats!! This forum really helped me out in Sept. and I credit a lot of my recovery for having it and giving me the facts as to not relapse. Knowing the facts really helps me from relapsing. I had to learn about the brain damage, didnt realize, so now I just do NOT want to do that anymore. I love where I am at now too much, and I love that my libido is back and I feel real goals and passions now. Going back on pills is not an option. Too much past regret now, onward and UPward!
