Hey Stephanie, clean dates are a personal matter. I realized how high subs made me after I quit them. I thought I felt normal, but honestly had forgotten what normal is. Six months after my last sub dose, I really noticed how different I was feeling. I mostly count my last methadone dose, but anyone who has come off subs usually start counting sub detox. The important thing is, are you working on your recovery, we can relate to each other, but we all walk this path our own way.
516 days. Stoked that I only have one more month til I get my long coveted 18 month coin.... Geez, I don't know how they expect us to go 6 months without getting a coin! Lol. Congratulations to everyone here, whether you are on day one or a thousand, etc. We can recover, you just have to want it. It is hard, but worth it. Those awful days of withdrawal are worth your freedom, and I am grateful that mine were so bad, because I remember it everyday, and it is one of my strongest tools in recovery. Thank you to everyone of you for keeping me clean and sober. I read posts here most days, and comment when I can (small children who are always in some kind of dire need of mom, lol), and all the posts are helpful to me. I am reminded of things I need to be doing, and where I never want to be again. You all center me, if that makes sense. So thank you. And keep on keeping on, folks!

5,045 days clean and sober, one day at a time, lots of meetings in the first year. There's so much support, it's so doable. Never go back. Good work, all of you.
Hey Stephanie......someone asked the same question you did when Tomskat posted Roll Call in February. Roll Call is for EVERYONE to post their clean time off their DOC (drug of choice). So post away, girl!!!
And, Tomskat.....you forgot to post yours LOL
