I wasn't on hydro & morphine for as long as you but have noticed that I usually get severe headaches off & on from about day 4- 18. It usually starts at about the same time my energy begins to return (which can be very frustrating) though I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the headaches. I never had much luck with OTC painkillers but sometimes Aleve & a small amount of caffiene worked, but I have to watch out for my uneasy stomach which further complicates matters LOL ! Good Luck it will b hard but it can b done
energy was the hardest thing for me...i love energy and probably the reason i abused in the first place...look into the amino acids..google dopamine replacement...hang in there.this passes but something we did for so long just does not go away in a week or 2...if i had known that i would hope iwould have never gone the route i did...what is done is done..execise is a great way to keep ur energy levels up...stay positive
Hi ! Congrats on the 6 days!!! I had to take advil or other over the counter pills for headache, body ache, backache etc. It is normal for our bodies to take time to adjust to working without the buzz of opiates. I still don't have the super energy I got from my hydro buzz but I know it wasn't a lasting energy. I have a steady energy now not super energy. You will feel better each day. The first 90 days we go through alot of feelings mental and phsyical. Its all a part of adjusting to being clean.
Again, you are doing great and dont forget to rest if you need to.
Well done on day six. Energy for many seems to take awhile and i don't think there is a certain time frame as everyone is different. Just wanted to bump this to the top so you can get more advice, im not familar with hydro's or morphine. Wishing you the best of luck in your recovery
