SCARED BABY FATHER

My girlfriend is 7 months pregnant she finally admitted to me she smoked crack cocaine and marijuana. I had a feeling she was doing it because she use to do it years ago but said she stop. She blow her check in one day.im so scared for my baby girl she is due April 17,2015.she claim she wants help but want seek it.it always causes a argument .I call her dr at the ob gyn but she never called back because im not on her hpo paper work to talk or release information. I want her to come clean with her dr also.im to the point where if she don't come claen I will bring it up at the next dr visit. I don't want to do that but she leave me no choice .for our daughters sake and hers. She already have two kids that she don't have custody of right now. Im a real concern father. Any advice would help me

I would call the Doctir office again. They usually have an option to leave a message for or speak to a nurse. Usually you get to leave a message. Explain what is going on. Say you are the Father and concerned. You can give info, they just can't give you info. However, since this will affect the baby, it may allow them to talk to you. Leave your name & phone number.

And keep involved. Let everyone know who you are. If your girl is born addicted you want to be there to take the baby. They may make you jump through hoops but you are the father.

Now your GF could get mad and try to cut you out totally. Break up, not let you know when born eat not say you are Dad. Be prepared to maybe have to establish your paternity rights and go to court. But if CPS takes the baby you have to contact them fast!!!

You are doing the right thing. I praying your girl is ok.

u need to tell her she goes to a rehab or u r going to get cps involved!!! unfortunately u have to put the life of ur child first and her second!!

Hi James. Do whatever you need to do to keep that baby safe. If she gives birth, and they test the baby and see your gf is using, CPS will get involved. She will get her kids taken away if she's not clean or lies about using. Tell the dr. and ask his input. You have EVERY right to keep YOUR baby healthy and safe.
