Scared of lortab withdrawls

I am so ready to have my life back.  Addiction to lortab has robbed me of my life.  How bad are the wothdrawls?  Help

You can make it through this. You will be very tempted to get more lortabs, but don't. You know you want to quit, and you know IT'S TIME! Stay strong! You can get through this! Give yourself 2 or 3 days ok?

I don't think you can die from withdrawals. Do not let yourself have an anxiety attack friend. You'll be fine! I had a problem weening off too, so I know how you feel!! But the withdrawals won't hit you as hard if you can ween off, even if it's just a little.

You can quit cold turkey, I've done that too. If you need to check yourself into a rehab clinic, then do so! I've tried that too, lol. That didn't work well for me because I felt fine after quitting. It only takes 2 days to get past the worst part.

I was taking as many lortabs as you are just last week! I was taking 4 tens every 4 hours. I made it through just fine. I barely weened myself off, but I did a little. You CAN get through this!!

Ive been taking about 10-15 10/500 a day for about 9 months.  I have a slipped disk and OA in my knees and spine.  I used to have all this energy and now all i want to do is eat my pills and sleep.  If i dont take a pill every 4 hours i start feeling like i cant breath and like im going to vomit!  I dont even have the energy to work.  I just moved back to ny from fl so i dont have a doctor here and of course no insurance.  Is cold turkey better then slowly weening off??  I dont think i could ween... It has to be all or nothing for me!  Im a recovering alcoholic so this is really really hard.  Can I die from withdrawls?  Im ready to admit myself into an insane asylumn...  Thank you for helping me...

Aww, the withdrawals aren't so bad. If you can tough it out for 2 days, you'll start feeling better.

I, too, am addicted to lortabs. I was taking over 200 mg a day! The withdrawals I experienced was diarrhea, weakness, and minor muscle aches.

Take immodium and ibuprofen and take got baths to relax your muscles and you'll get past it just fine. A lot of it is psychological, keep that in mind! I was scared to death too, and it was all for nothing.

Today is my 8th day without them and I feel great! Keep your head up and stay strong!!
KNOW you CAN get through this!! If I can, so can you! : )
