I have been taking 40 or 2000 miligrams of  TRAMADOL/ULTRAM a day for about 3 years now.  It started with 5, then 10, then 20 etc.  Just like vics, or oxy.  I used to be addicted to heroin.  The first person who reads this is going to say this guy is full of **** but type in Tramadol on Google, you tell me how hard it is to get.  I keep hearing people say how hard it was to get off of 6 tramadol a day, welcome to real addiction.  I have done many a detox myself but something tells me not this time.  Scared to death and spending 950 a month, who suffers, my family.

You can kick this addiction...it won't be easy...but it WILL be well worth it.

You cannot ct off ultram..follow avisg advice...she is good w/ taper plans...

wow....2000mg daily.  I take around 800mg and have been scared to death that I'll have a seizure or just fall over dead!!  I find this board very helpful.  I am trying to ween down myself....I only took 12 pills yesterday!!  there's also the "thomas recipe" you can look at and maybe that will help you.  You are not alone and anytime You want to talk...PM me because this tramadol is destroying my life as well!!

Others have kicked this and they were taking as much or more than you. Begin your taper and get your life back slowly.

hi, there are alot of people here who can help you . the forum is slow right now but stick arund people will be on. you will be fine. we care . Can you taper? my doc was vic and any addiction is hard to beat. hope this helps. Teach

there are many that have taken large amouts of ultram. you are not alone .I am sure you know you are going to have to taper down . i would sugget going down one pill every 4 days for now .do you have anyone to help you ?

hang in there, it is still early and you will get responses when more people log on.you will get ALOT of support here, i am also an addict, my DOC was vic, but also used morphine, heroin, basically everything. never tramadol, though, so i will leave advice for the ones who know about that. i would spend $1600 a month for my addiction, am now tapering thanks to the support i have from this forum. i know how it is, believe me!
