Set for Detox on Wednesday (Final Preperations)

So after weaning down from 40mg hydrocodone to 10mg today I have today and 2 additional days at maintaining 10mg (total wean time of 21 days) and then WHAMMO, detox starting  on Wednesday.

I've got a multivitamin, L-tyrosine, Vitamin B-6, Excedrin and some Tylenol PM (for sleep). I've also got plenty of time to recover from my, ehem, "flu" so thats good. Aside from these things, a good attitude and some DVD's what else would y'all suggest to get through the 4-7 days of flu-a-palooza?

Well its been 24 hours since my last sliver of vicodin and so far not too bad. My back pain is still about the same, thank the gods, and the inevitable expelling of body liquids en masse is still waiting to occur until the most inconvenient time possible.

So so far i give it a 7/10.

Though there does seem to be an awful lot of strange noises emanating from the bowels of....my bowels.  Thinkin i might pop two imodiums as a pre-emptive strike against the terrorist occupation in my innards.

Thanks to you both for the support and advice, it is much appreciated. =)

I've got some more stuff, based off some other advice in the forum, like that "Restful Leg" thing and a puke bucket (kinda seems standard issue, hehe).

Tomorrow, the day before detox, I'm going to swing by the store and get some foodstuffs, Gatorade (lots of it), red bull (hey, im not kickin my caffeine addiction here...gotta keep that bad boy goin) and some Dramamine for the drowsiness. At this point making it out of the house 1 - 2 times a day is getting rough....stretching 10mg of the hydro for a whole day is really taking its effect, but its just the warm up before the big show.

Attitude is good. I'm a "trainer" , if that makes any sense. Meaning that im used to having long periods of physical and mental training before any given event ala sports/competition. I've gone through plenty of "hell weeks" in my time and that's how im viewing this; a period of physical and mental breakdown for the intended purpose of rebuilding a stronger persona/body. So that's what I've done here. Of course this means i obsesses over details so if I've missed any please do let me know!   =)
