Thank you so much Kyle. If that's what I need to do next, I can do it. In fact, after 3 Ensures, I feel a little bit of strength to go outside on this perfect spring day and dig in my garden. Like yesterday I may only pull two weeds but I need to stay busy. Your support and advice is great!
P.S. - just read your last post....after days four and five, you'll physically feel better, not "normal" quite yet, but better. IF you stay clean, exercise, eat healthy, and get some aftercare, you'll see positive results daily, even on bad days (such is life). You may have a great day, then a not so great day, but keep going. This is also the time to pay attention to the games your head will start playing; be aware of the temptation - the message I received the most during day six, seven, etc., was "what will one pill hurt? People go to parties and have a couple of drinks; what's the difference? Just one..." The longer you are clean, the better you can deal with the mental aspect of recovery.
Anyway, that's my experience...

Well, you're in good hands. I'm at day 134 and wouldn't have made it without Vicki's support and advice. The Ensure saved me - got me through until I was able to handle real food. Once I started eating, and I ate LOTS of healthy food, things turned around almost immediately, and feeling better physically allowed me to handle the mental games of detox easier.
You are almost there - you won't believe the positive changes that will be taking place during the next few days. Keep posting. Life without pills is great - that's a promise.
Thanks Renee. I'm exactly at day 4 20 minutes ago. So I suppose you and I are over the worst??? that seems to be the common thread - 3-5 days are worst. But then what? What happens on day 6 or 9? I had goals for these five days and knew exactly what to expect and trust me, none of the possibilities passed me by.
What's next?
I am on day 4 and believe me you will have days some better, and then whamo it is back, Just stay strong, and try to keep your mind occupied with positive thoughts,, Good luck Renee
Hang in there the waz!! Your almost past the worst of the detox, then come the long haul of healing that brain. You can do it! It sounds like your doing what you need to minimize it as much as you can. I am on day 20, and the energy starts to come back, I promise. Hang in there!
