Subutex Detox and Elimidrol

Hello! I'm currently taking 8-12mg of subutex a day and am looking to setox myself. I was on Suboxone for 3 years and got pregnant and was switched to Subutex and have been on it for almost 3 years. So, altogether I've been on them for almost 6 years. I did really well on Suboxone. I only needed 4 mg a day. Getting switched to Subutex could've only been the work of the devil himself. I went from 4 mg a day to atleast 8 mg a day. It doesn't seem like a lot but if you've ever been on them, you know the though of withdrawal is absolutely terrifying, I've been combing through the internet, websites, forums...basically anything I can find for detoxing. I came across Elimidrol. I'd really like to try it but am obviously skeptical. Honestly, it just sounds too good to be true. I'm PRAYING that it is legit. I can't tell you how many times I've went to the Elimidrol website and went to the checkout and stopped and started and stopped and started. SO, my question is, has anyone tried it? Does it work? PLEASE feel free to comment post tell me your life stories experiences whatever you feel like. I'm ready...NO...I NEED off Subutex, I can't let it control mine or my Fiancees life anymore. The idea of waking up and NOT taking any meds just sounds like Heaven to me.

Oh any questions I'll be happy to answer! Right now, I'm awake because I still haven't got a good sleep cycle back since I came off them, that's the rough part for me. I started out on 16 mg a day, and over a 5 year period eventually tapered down. My doctor dropped me down veeery slow, because I was living with another addict at the time and so didn't want to move to fast, I only did a taper step about once a month. We aren't allowed to give taper advice on here, but my doctor printed off a taper from an online taper calculator for me to use near the end. He did prescribe me clonadine, but I took that crap once and never used it again, I hated it! Made me feel woozy and dizzy... My doctor did suggest the "thomas recipe", which really helped. It consists of things like B vitamins, l-tyrosine, magnesium, zinc and potassium, benadryl to help with sleep since clonadine didn't work for me, etc... things your body will need to recuperate. I jumped off at 4 mg a day, which is high according to some, but I sucked at tapering myself, no willpower. The first three days, I felt no negative symptoms, because bupe stays in your body for three days due to its long half life. Days 5-9 were the worst, but it was bearable. A lot of the detox to me is in my head... If I psyche myself out about it, i'll make it worse than it has to be. I'm on day 23 today, and still struggling with lack of energy, still sore muscles, etc. on occassion, but it's only mildly bothersome now. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hello!! Thank you for posting on my thread!! It's so awesome hearing from different people; their stories and experiences truly amaze me! I'm SO glad to hear that you successfully detoxed from Bupe. My fiancee Dan and I have been prescribed to it for about 6 years and have been ready to take the plunge for AWHILE!! So we will be detoxing together. A few questions if you don't mind?
-What milligram were you on?
-How long were you on it?
You're truly blessed that you had a doctor that was actually interested in helping you GET OFF of Bupe! All my doctor cared about was that he got mine and Dan's $200 payment every month!
Also, I'm assuming since you did it with your Doctor's help, they tapered you down? If so, how often did you taper you down? How much did you taper each time? I'm guessing they prescribed you non habit forming meds like clonodine etc? And my final question (for now! Lol) if you withdrew at all, how long did it last?
Once again, thank you for posting on my thread! I appreciate everybody's feedback!! Also, if you feel my questions are too personal or are uncomfortable answering any of them for whatever reason, I understand! Each person's road to recovery is personal to them and I totally understand that!! Have a great morning/afternoon/evening!!!!

Hey, congrats on making the decision to start a new way of life, you will not regret it! I'm 22 days clean from buprenorphine(the drug in suboxone and subutex) and am so glad I did! It takes time because of how long it stays in your system after you quit taking it, but it's worth it! I was very blessed to have a doctor who wanted me to succeed, helped me do a proper taper, establish a new lifestyle etc. but all that is necessary is the willingness to seek out a new life, keep it up!

I tapered down the last 2 days, went from 8-12 mg to about 6 mg. I did order the Elimidrol, today actually. I got a really really good promotion code. I'll get it in the mail Thursday or Friday. I'm going to try and keep tapering 2 mg a day and when I get the Elimidrol I'll (TRY) to stop taking the Subutex (I'll say tex for short)  and go from there...my fiancee is telling me I'm getting my sights too high but I know myself, as long as I keep taking tex, at all regardless of the amount, I won't stop. My willpower is nonexistent. Not only do I do tex to not be sick, I get bored, stressed or anxious and do a little bit throughout the day. It's going to be hard but I'm doing it!! And I'm excited...no...scared...both!! I'm sick of feeling like they're in control of me instead of myself. Hope you all are doing well!!!!!!!!

Thank you! I appreciate your feed back! I'm going to buy the elimidrol and see how it goes.  It makes me feel a little better knowing there's a 7 day money back guarantee. Right now I really can't afford $150 at all let alone for something that doesn't work! With these legal charges I lost my job as well. The only thing this addiction hasn't taken from me and the most important is my children.  I cannot...Will not let that happen. I'm very optimistic about this. Which is new,  usually the thought of detoxing has me hiding under my covers in bed. Lol just considering it and taking the steps to find out about it gives me an energy I haven't felt in a very long time.

Hi! I Hear You Nikkirs.

This is what most of us are blessed for today..The running to get more, the counting, the money all those games that come with it. I still have some friends that still play this game all day long..However, I do not hang with them anymore. I can not!!!

Have you ever looked up Addiction in a more scientific way? How the brain works and what goes on why we use and after? This will show you that it is not all about Willpower when we got hooked.

I do not know much about the elimidrol either..But I have seen it mentioned on here before. IF you and your other can do a taper that would be good. Most of us could not do it this way. I sure do know where you are coming from and I do wish you both the best. Like I said, we sure can help you get through your detox by sharing our own experiences. The BIG thing is it does take TIME and PATIENCE for one to bounce back. The brain chems get whacked out and that will take some time to balance out and fire back up (sorta speaking). Most of us on here do some kind of Aftercare too! This is a good way to get outside Support and learn more about this Disease. Well, just stick around and others will chime in. It seems to be a bit on the slow side but they do come & go. Hang Tight!

long story short i was seeing a doctor and i got kicked out last week. im in some legal trouble...dealing subutex, possession..etc.  my doctor was only interested in the money he was making, not actually helping people get CLEAN. my fiancee and i have been talking about getting off these for awhile but are now serious about it. i DO NOT want to have to get into a new doctor and all that b.s the reason i was looking into elimidrol is, i went to my app a week ago and have a 3 week supply left. we started tapering today. and honeslty, i have NO will power. im worried i wont be able to stick with the taper. and i know i wont be able to go cold turkey with nothing...the thought scares the shi*t out of me. the whole ordeal just scares me. and even more stressful, we have 3 beautiful children. we are both just so over the drug game. the stress, the worry THE OTHER PEOPLE...over it. time to grow up...lol

I also would like to Welcome You to this site!
Just try to stay with one post for now and other will chime in.

I have to agree with my Good Friend above about the tapering with a Dr. We can not give you taper advice on here but we can help you a long the way. The BIG thing is doing this under the Drs care.

We will be here to help you get down and off these subs and also share are own experiences on what helped us during or w/ds. I cam off the Methadone that was prescribed for pain. Added 2 other meds and went c/t off of 3, like my Friend here back in 2012. It was not fun but it can be done! WE all can tell you this. Keep checking in for Support and in the long run you can go around and support others. This will keep your mind off things when You ate going through w/ds. Just know that the w/d is the easy part (yes uncomfortable) but it is working on staying clean that takes the cake. Are you doing any Aftercare? I wish you the best! Keep us Updated, if You like.
Bless

Hello and welcome to the forum~

It's great that you are ready to detox from subs!!!  6 years is a LONG time!
Some questions for you, ok?
Is your sub prescribed by a dr?
Is there some reason you and your dr cannot work out a taper plan for you?
Because of the long half life of subs, it would be much better to taper down to a lower dosage before you start something like Elimidrol and take the final jump.

I have not tried Elimidrol....but sure wish I had known about it when I jumped off my drug salad...LOL  I think the ingredients combine essential things that WILL help.....but I wouldn't spend the money on it until you taper to a much lower dose.

Let us know....we're here to help~
