Hey Avisg - I'm 14 days off Tramadol today.  I see a clean road ahead & I am sleeping right again - wow is that nice.  ---- Thank you for this forum.  It was my first step to thinking I NEED to quit & got me to do the rest of the footwork here.  So nice to have others who can relate!

The only two problems I have is sleeping (but I think that is stress) and eatting but drug free so it's all good

wow im 73 days clean today...didnt even realize it had been that long! whoo--hoo! i quit taken sub about 3 weeks ago also...cold turkey...feelin normal again!

January43-new member-chronic pain patient w/ 4 years on OC and 5 years on methadone. Plus various and assorted breakthru meds whenever I ask for them.
Today is the 3rd day of many to come on my taper down to zilch.  I know it is going to be a long haul but I'm mentally and physically prepared for it.
Thanks to Sad in Mich, worried, Savos, Eagle1 and Only for pain for the special help and sending good karma to HOBBITY tomorrow as she enters rehab.

roll calls are good..the forum changes constantly...some stick around...most do not...but everyone has to remeber that aftercare s the key.....this is tougher than we think
hydros  80-100 mg A DAY FOR 4 YEARS...going on 8 months,,,has been an experience that i do not ever want to repeat...lots more involved than i knew about...but when u r ready...u can feel it in ur bones....and u will let go...forever

Day 6 and looking forward to each new day hoping it will be better than the last.  Day six seems so insignificant to me but you cant make it to 30 or more if you dont pass 6 right?  still fighting extreme urges and this forum is really helping.

I'm quitting Tramadol!  I'm at 9 per day starting tomorrow (Monday 30 Sep 2008).  I'm a week ahead of schedule.   WoooHooo!  I was taking upwards of 20 per day a few months ago.  So I'm half way to freedom!  The real hard parts are still to come for me though.  But I'm staying on track.  And I'm staying motivated!  This site helps a lot!  Thanks Avisg, you rock!

I am on day 4, feeling fair, slept 2 hrs awake 4 and back to sleep for 2. Taking LunaSom PM, it helped. So still plugging along...
