Thanks, I appreciate the info! A hot shower sounds pretty good right now....my little Shi Tzu might think I've lost what little mind I have left...LOL!
try gettin in a hot shower for 10 min and then lyin in bed that will work for a good hr maybe 2 if your lucky the first week is hit or miss and the second week will gradually get better going from 15 min a time on day 1 to upwards of 4 hrs hopfully the second week so on so forth but we didnt become addicts in days so dont except your body 2 heal in days (not that u said that) so all n all sleep should be back 2 normal around 30 days but the good part is after 7ish days the phy wds will have subsided for the most part!!
You're right about that. I've been foggy for way too long....and, I'm ready to give this my best shot. I do, however, wish to goodness, I could SLEEP!!!!
keep fighting the fight its worth it its only guna get harder the longer u wait!!!
I think one of y'all asked if I had health problems, or maybe I hallucinated it....anyway, here goes. I have a triple fusion in my neck, a rod in my lower back, 2 complete ruptures in the thorasic area, and just for fun, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. The RA, so far, has only affected my hip, my hands, feet, and one knee.
BTW, I'm 59 yrs old, and a widow of 14 yrs....so, I'm alone.
You'll need to give yourself another week for the physical stuff to subside. But everyone is different. Just keep moving forward. This is your opportunity to quit these pills all together. It feels hard now but you are getting thru the worst part right now. Keep posting here and we will support you thru it.
Well honey at this point day 4 just taking a shower is a major accomplishment! Lol. You have been taking them for a long time, so getting them out of you will not happen overnight. That being said, you are in the thick of it right now, symptoms usually peak between day 3 and 5. After that things start to improve. There are vitamin and mineral supplements that can help. The Thomas recipe below lists them, and you will need to take immodim for the runs. Light exercise like walking is really great. We are all here to support you! I think that is definitely one of the most important things. Are you a chronic pain patient? I am not. I was just medicating myself to escape from life. But wow I'm glad I stopped! So tell us a little more about your situation and we will take it from there. It takes a village! Congratulations on 4 days!
Hi there msd! I surely need to....but, I just got out of the shower, and, am SO weak!!! This feeling is Godawful........how long does it last?
Hey girl and welcome to the forum. So are you planning to quit for good?
