Taper or cold turkey

Lets assume we want to get our systems clean of the poison as soon as possible. By poison, about 50mg of vic per day.   I can stand the pain of cold turkey if it will put me where I want to be.  I will taper if its healthier though.  You have any suggestions?

Thanks for input from you above.   Good luck to those who are quitting.  Maybe I shouldn't say luck, it will take more than that to pull me away.   I'm pissed though and want my freedom from these things.

Thanks Jay.  I will try cold turkey and see what happens. Nice to know there are other people who have gone through it.  It was only in the last cuple of months that I admitted to myself this was an addiction.

I would say cold turkey if you can do it!!  50mg of Vic is low compared to some on here who go cold turkey!  My first detox I tapered so fast It was like cold turkey and I was using 150mgs of perc a day for a year and a half and I did fine!  This time I'm cold turkey and almost through 3 days and feel good already!  I think my body cleans it out fast cause I'm all mental now.
