Wow! 6 yrs she has been a Community Leader around MH. What a Great Job YOU have done in the run.

I know YOU are going to get me for this, but I had to Post Your 6 Years as our CL around here.

DS I have been with you on this site for 3 yrs and I have learned so much from YOU along the way. YOU have been there for me through Notes, Journals and mostly PMs. YOU were with me all the way, helping me to pull out of those Troubled Water Days. When I first got here I had 3 months in, but I still did not understand what was happening to me. YOU always talked me through this. When my parents,dog and friends died in such a short time YOU kept responding back to me in all areas in my profile. You and my Mom even had a conversation back and fourth a few times, as she was sick with cancer. I remember you called her the forum Mom and that made her feel so good. I also remember the days we talked about being in that Diaper Stage toward my Recovery! LOL Many things this Older Chic can thank of..Lots of Love.

DS. You come out here and make it Short & Sweet and Right to the Point! You & Gnarly are the 2 reason I got picked for being a New Community Leader out here.  The real GOOD thing is that I finally got to talk with you over the Telephone Line. NOW that was very interesting because I had you picked out way different. YOU have such a Nice Easy Flowing Voice, with a Nice and Easy Personality to follow. Yes, I know YOU can have Your Days too! LOL!

I am PROUD to be a Friend to such a Lady with so much Kindness and Wisdom being Her.
WE LOVE YOU GIRL! Keep it up and this little Grasshopper, will be following being the Bigger Grasshopper.

I know that I would of not made it this far if it was not for ALL the people that took there time to help me out.

To the New Ones and the One to Come and even the Older Timers. WE all become a Family around here but it takes all of us to do so.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.  I cant believe it has been 6 yrs already.  I have seen a ton of people come thru here.  I have shared laughter and joy with new babies, new grandbabies,weddings etc.  I have also experienced the other end of that spectrum, death.  I lost a very good friend a few years back to this addiction.  He was on MH also and alcohol took him out.  We lost someone who was very dear to us all when IBK passed.  I have sat up with people thru the night(thank god I am a bat) making sure they made it thru.  I think Lesa remembers one of those nights with a member here.  We have poured our heart and soul's out to each other and lifted each other up when life handed us disasters.  Thank you to each and everyone of you for helping me in my recovery.  I am humbled to be in your presence~    sara

Wow Sara 6 years, It feels like you just spoke to be about becoming a cl just a few months ago ~!! You are a Great Community Leader I mean that. You have touched so many. Me for sure. Do you remember when we first started talking I was so new to sobriety. I would ask, Sara are you mad at me ? You always, always answered with such kindness and that would set me at ease till I asked you again lol  Your patience with me helped me to grow and to loose that insecurity Thank you my friend, I love you..
