Still just blank......

Wow....I see there is really no communication going on in this forum all morning.
well....I did start my recovery group yesterday, and attended my church.  Im still tired, my mind is still just blank, no real active emotions.  Guess that will come in time.  Well I just wanted to peak in, I do not have any desire to use, which is good.  I try to keep myself busy as I physically can.  Well I wont talk too much right now, I would rather be in this condition, than the condition I was in while using.  This to shall pass....I will just continue doing the things I need to do for my recovery and support.  Lil by Lil, Im progressing.  Have good day.

I am really proud of you as this has been tough and you continue to fight.  I know the recovery group will help you as you will see others(in person) who have been right where you are at.  There is no stopping you now!!

Hi Again!!
Ditto with Gnarly.
You sound so much better already..Good!  Keep moving forward. One step at a time and One day at a time. It DOES get better. We do have a Disease and lots of help is needed. You have surrendered this to your God and now it is time to keep doing the footwork. Lots of changes & behaviors changes have to be made. You will find that you will be replacing the chase to get high with something way better and more natural. Keep that Armour around you at all times and carry a big Sword. The Grass is Greener on the other side.

Great Job so far...You will be Fine in Time!!
Bless U

Hey Girl good to see you post......im so happy you have started your recovery progam at church.....by chance is it celebration recovery?? I have heard a lot of good things about that progam....a lot of churches have recovery progams...the main thing here is you have somewhere to share whats going on with you....my wife has 27yrs clean this year all by the power of Jesus....for a old dope fiend like me I personally need more structure and accountability so N/a is a better fit for me  it is also a spiritual progam and I also recanize Jesus as my higher power prayer is a powerful weapon agents addiction....just know your emotions will come back but it takes time we dident get ourselfs in this mess over night nor will we get ourselfs out of it as quickly as we would like  as addicts ''we want it and want it now'''  this is a race one by the tortus not the hare slow and steady wins this race...see how things work out for you but always be open to change it is a critical part of recovery as always keep posting for support

Omg....thankyou gnarly.....it is always so refreshing & encouraging to hear from you, and you share your experience & wisdom, you pour out so much to the suffering on this forum.  god bless you & your wife.  Yes I will be patient...because I KNOW....alllllll things are possible thru & with jesus christ....the lord has delivered, & brought me thru many things..I know he wont fail me now.  Im complaining....kicking....& screaming, yes I want to feel better like. right now....I see it dont work like that.  Actually I have no other choice, but to do the work, and slowly let change take place, I am better than when I was actively using anyhow......so thats a huge plus.  I believe, & I have faith.....tho I cannot see it right now....I believe I will win in the end.
