Tired of fighting this

I am so tired of this fight!!!! Not only am I trying to clean off opiates, but also cocaine.I've been coke-free for 8 days-YAY!!!! Opiates, not so good w/that.For me the coke is the hard one...I crave it so bad.The pills I kinda feel like I'll deal w/them later....and, being an addict, does/will later ever come???????Can anyone give me more info about a detox facility, program? What are they, what do they do, how long are you there, etc.I'm just so tired of trying to fight both adddictions......

I hope you do look into a detox facility and get some help to do this. Coke and opiates are a deadly combo. Coke cravings are different from pills as you know, they are so so much worse and scary and without some support and aftercare relapse is very common. Come up with a plan on how you want to get clean, it takes commitment, but worth it. Although I did use pills here and there, they were never my thing, cocaine took me somewhere i did not know existed. Congrats on 8 days clean from coke. Send me a pm anytime, i would like to talk to you about this drug. Glad to see you post and want to get off this roller coaster ride. You can do this:)

Bro, it will get better, been there....TRUST ME on that !! and it does fu*8ing suck, but you can do it. i NEVER thought that i would be were i am today. its feels great to have a clear head and not be dependant on any drugs at all. but the 1st step is you have to get to a detox place and get straight. i've been to a detox 4 times in my 7 years of addiction, but only stayed 3 to 4 days in detox everytime, i never did the 28 days they recommend. i couldn't because of my job and my kids at home. but for me, the 3 to 4 days did the job, but its up to you to get to meetings and get on the sub, it works !! the sub is amazing stuff, even though you will read ALOT of negative things about it, IT WORKS !! i dont think that without the sub, i would have stayed clean for so long (6 months so far ) and not a craving at all to do any drugs . you could literally put a bucket of pills ,dope, coke in front of me and i wouldnt touch it. you have to give it as chance...and remember : YOUR NOT ALONE IN THIS !!........

hi there. most inpatient facilities consist of a medically supervised detox that usually lasts 2-10 days followed by intensive individual and group therapies to educate you about chemical dependency and how to treat it. this phase can last from 10 to 30 days, sometimes longer depending on the facility. during this time, you will likely be given the opportunity to adjust to a more normal routine and regular balanced nutrition. some facilities will also address any other unrelated medical concerns as well. i'm sending you info on locating facilities in your area. take care, gm
