To Sab...please Read...

I have read your posts and where you said sorry and were not going to come back...dont do that please.. Its only that your words are true when it comes down to it and I think you are sooo frustrated ...which you should be....that it caught people off guard....it is the truth..however the truth hurts and its alittle more complex..which you are saying you are still trying to figure it all out..
The only thing as rough as being an addict is being someone who loves one..
It is truly so very difficult to watch someone you love be addicted and feel helpless and wonder why you are not important enough for them to quit and get their life together...YOU ARE THAT IMPORTANT TO HIM..I CAN GUARENTEE THAT...the addiction makes people do the worst things and thats when you the loved one gets hurt..but its not that he doesnt love you..the drug has control..My husband has been through the same thing with me and thank god he stuck it out..now I am on the road to becoming clean..massive tapering in my drug of choice to get my life back..I requested you as a friend...accept is you like..I would love you too..I invite you to take a look at my profile and tracker with the journals..they are public..I kept them that way incase they could ever help anybody..Please take a look from an addicts side..many people have journals that you can read..it might help you feel alittle better understanding how the drugs take control and how the addict feels..and the guilt and low self worth it gives you...and yes that only makes an addict take more...its a vicous circle..I understand your hurting..and so is he.. this has control of him and the only one that can get that back is him..the "its me or the drugs", I am leaving if you dont quit, the preaching not to do it anymore..will not work..my hubby tried all those..each time only made me feel so bad and soo afraid I'd lose him the first thing I would do was take more to forget the pain..as with addiction that is what your brain tells ya too do..its a very hard hard fight..for the addict and a very hard position for any loved one to be in to watch it...withdrawls are almost unbearable when we go the past to getting clean..in his heart of hearts he does likely love you more than you know..it just doesnt show when it comes to an addict..stay around, do some reading, try to get a good understanding and people here are awesome and may be able to help you with helping him..in a healthy way that would get him to the goal you so wish for him...
On the road to recovery and gaining forgiveness from all my loved ones that I wronged in this venture...............
Sincerely   Neverb4
