Anyone experience severe pain and crackling feeling and sound in arm after iv meth

Pain is severe can't even wash hair or hold phone or text it seems to be intensified by movement cause relaxed it feels ok. I've applied heat and cold and doesn't seem to make a difference pain wise. It is not swollen or red doesn't have any liquid or open cut. No puss or drainage either. It has weird firmness right under injection following the cephalic vein top forearm. I don't want to go to the ER and it be something they don't take seriously. I will go if have to obviously don't want to have my arm missing. I used new equipment but didn't have a filter for the first time and it was a tiny miss but not much at all. I have used this area a lot lately but it had been resting for a week and no damage. The pain is not very bearable since I can't do anything and it's my dominent hand, and now the crackling sound and feel to it is just scaring me cause it can possibly be intravenous air or crepitus which is subcutaneous air or gas in between the dermal layers but if I don't have a fever or any other major symptoms like chest pain chills or throwing up I was wondering if it's urgent to go? I've never been a iv user and don't use often until recent month or so and don't have anyone to ask about it. So any info would be appreciated cause I haven't seen anyone have this on any forum as a result of miss iv meth.

Hello Ninja Welcome to the forum. I was wondering if the abscess resolved on its own our did you go to the Dr. ? a miss can be painful sometimes we need to take antibiotics to clear the infection from the cut, also the cut can cause probables with a miss as we do not know what the drug is cut with.. anyway I hope your arm is ok and that you may think about quitting, If you do we are here for you, lesa
