Two weeks clean

Here it is, a milestone. Two weeks clean and it seems a lifetime ago that I was on day one and dreading the withdrawals. They were rough, but Charlie and Tina hooked up with me right away and helped me through that first tough week. Then others joined in and it has became a support community that I just love and needed! Now the physical is mostly over and the mental begins, but I can say with conviction that I still have NO desire to take a pill. I have read about PAWS and have prepared my self for it if it rears it's ugly head. I won't go back, ever! I am loving my pill free life. There is such a freedom in it. Hang in there! It gets better!

Fantastic! Way to go Angel. I am two days behind you and hope to stay there forever. God had his plan a couple weeks ago to have us find this post and each other, and it works. Trust. Faith. Love. I first posted 10 days ago and you and tina found me quickly. Without y'all and other help, I can't see how I would have made it this far. You are awesome and You will SUCCEED!!! For anyone just starting or thinking about it, know this. If we can do this, anyone can. Post, post, and post some more. Get to your local NA meeting and get a sponsor. Take all help available. Do not try to do this alone. We are all here for you. JUST FOR TODAY!!!

Love you angel. Stay strong. One day at a time.

Congratulations.    Posts like this give encouragement to those just starting out.    We all dread withdrawals, but people need to know that yes, while they are rough, it is certainly doable, especially if you have encouragement and support and have a good idea what to expect.   Keep up the good work!
