Very little sleep night of Day 6

I was bragging about how great I felt yesterday, but last night was a horror.  I did not take my OTC sleeping aid last night and forgot to take my aleve and did not get to sleep until I finally took an Aleve at 3:15 a.m.  I feel asleep probably 10 minutes later, but woke up at 4:40 a.m., then again at 5:55 a.m.  I was exhausted.  I felt like a truck hit me or like those younger partying days when I was stupid enough to use coke on work nights.  I haven't done that in several years for good reason.  I thought i would get caught up with the sleep today, but got called out for a job so I went.  It was so enjoyable that I didn't miss a beat.  I am a little fatigued but have major homework to do and a class to teach tonight.  Not sure I can handle it, but I will give it my best.  I've had a total of 2 1/2 hours of sleep.  Its still so worth it.  I feel great!!!

no sleep was the worst part of wds for .me...it just makes you feel miserable and for me it hung on for a bit....the good news is you all will be sleeping well soon...just hang in there...one day at a time....congrats on your clean time...keep going...maria

I'm at 5 1/2 days clean and have been having alot of trouble sleeping more than 45 minutes at a clip each night too.  I am hoping tonight is the magical night that sand man visits for a full night ... from my lips to gods ears ... hoping we all get a good nights Sleep :)  Hang in there everyone ... each day gets alittle easier   Von

Well, don't feel alone I'm on day 7 with nothing....but OTC sleepin aids. They really don't help...I only used oxys  since April.....Long Party Hey.... But, I seen the dark side of opiates and don't want any part of it....I live in San Francisco where they are so easy to get...Its actually crazy how easy to obtain without a script.....But now I just want my old life back....I was up to 2   80 mg oxys a day...Hope I can sleep tonight...I hope you guys to to....

great...i'm on day 6...hope i can sleep tonight. lol. I actually take an ativan at night ... though I may only take a half of one tonight.

Glad to here its still worth it...I know I feel so good today...a little tired (working 10 hours) and my tummy hurts a bit...but its all good. :)

my mood is excellent today...i really didn't think i'd be in a good mood anytime soon after stopping the vics....wow.
