What will it be like?

When I get my refill (next friday: Oxycontin 40 mg), IF.....  I decide to take a pill....what will the effect be after 9 to 10 days off the pill....will it be intense? I need to know...please don't fudge the truth to make me not want to!!!??? I promise to try and dispose of them instead of ingesting them!

do they come in the mail?  if they come to a pharmacy then have a trused one pick them up and flush them for u each month...i would chec on those rules an see if non-addictive pain scrips being filled could keep u on ur disabilty

Dont touch them anymore! stay away from them trust me i was addicted to them for 5 years! Flush the dam things Please. the pain they cause both phy and mentally hurts real bad! to keep taking them is like selling your soul to the devil's supervisor! And thats the truth!!!!!!!!!!!

you know what will happen if you get the script filled. the same thing i would prob do...just say **** it and not fill it. youll be happy you did that! good luck! the decision is yours!

The best thing and you know it, is to git rid of them, if you are nervous about it give them to someone you trust not to give them to you unless you are "dying in agony".  But to answer your question the longer you go without the lower your tolerence becomes so the amt you used to take will be way too much.  In addition you risk over dosing because it is hard to gauge what effect it will have on you.

If you  truly want to quit .I would call the pharmacy and cancel your refill

I don't think you should flush them..I think you should just not get it refilled or just pick it up and have somebody hold them for you.

I have almost exactly the same situation. You'll have to flush them as soon as you get them, every month. If you want to quit.

Hey, I have to get it from the VA ....If I don't they can take my disability away! I haven't even thought of how to take care of my pain (broken back) after my detox is over????? Anyhow, I broke it jumping in Airborne school in the army.....it ruined my damn life!

Dude you know good and well If you refill that script where it is going. If you are serious don't refill it. By time next Friday gets here you will be out of the woods.
