When will methadone withdrawals start generally?

Hello, Tuesday am I took my last dose of methadone. I was only on 7mg. I've been on methadone for almost 3 years. I was tired of tapering and with having a young child I decided I'd go through a week or so of withdrawals than deal with the withdrawals of tapering 1 mg at a time. I've tried slowing the taper down, taking clonidine along with it, and now just quitting. It's now Thursday morning and all I've experienced is very minimal leg and back pain. I can't imagine this being all that's going to happen. However I've never done this and I don't know anyone that has either. I'm scared and nervous. If it's possible I'd like to be mentally prepared. I hope someone can help me out with that by answering my question to the best of their abilities. Thank you :)

I jumped off at 90mgs and the first week was a hard.    Being clean 21 days  I certainly don't have all the answers.   My energy comes in waves as does the cravings.   I go to at least a meeting a day for mental part.   The physical was shockingly not THAT bad.    Unless you're a 30lb woman you'll be fine!   I just know if I make it today I'll be fine.   I was in AA for years (last drink 4/18/90) and I thought that was the dumbest quote on Earth.   It's now how I live.   Take care.

Shew !! This has been a slow moving process for me I guess were I gotta taper to 30 mg.... Do you know what I can use for sleep and ect? An does it have something to do with weight? Cause I just weight 100

If you're not a true addict then have your doctor prescribe you Valium and you will sleep like a baby --   If you are then just push through it.   It's 7:14 AM I'm going to church for the second time in a decade I wouldn't trade this for that in a heartbeat.   It's not there is no pain, there certainly is but as they say in meetings this too shall pass and I have to have faith.

Trissy32 have you asked about clonidine? That's a safe and non habit forming prescription that can make you drowsy.

No I haven't and now my skins crawling badly an puked three times this morning and ugh breathless lifeless and my mental state.... Just feel like I gotta get out of here!! My sweatings worse and hot/cold flashes and the pains like given birth!!!! I'm not really able to get out but Lordy guess I need get to my family dr
