I agree with Vicki. You have the RIGHT to remain silent. I would definitely consult a lawyer to be on the safe side.
I'm trying to picture what happened here and how you changed it...Anyway, don't say anything and don't admit to anything. Wait and see where they go with this...just give it some time to play out...I KNOW that's what I would do because I wouldn't want to be going to talk to detectives or a judge!
I WOULD be scared to death and I hope it would wake me up to a bigger problem. Let us know what's happening...Remember, most would change the amount of pills and not the date so that's in your favor...Just don't say anything. If you do they can charge you because their proof will be that you admitted it...
Hi kathi, I'm sorry you are going through this. I'm sure you are worried, and very stressed out. I hope that no matter what happens, you look at this as a huge wake up call. Please let us know what happens. We can give you advice and support. Take care!
Sorry I don't know how to post besides attaching it so someone else's comment, but yeah it is against the law a felony where I am from. If I were you I would call the doctor and fess up and maybe he won't call the police, but I doubt he won't. They can get in as much trouble if not more for not reporting it. With that being said it would be a good idea to get in some sort of treatment program now so when you do have to go to court it will look like you are doing something to over come your addiction. I feel bad that you have to deal with this, but maybe it is a blessing in disguise that you got caught? We have all done things to get pills or our DOC that was unethical or dishonest you are just one of the unlucky ones that got caught. Good luck with everything and I hope this incidental thing will help you get on the right track to getting sober.
I just reread my post and it definitely came out harsh! Only good intentions Kathi.... Only here to help....
I'm definitely not trying to beat her up.... Maybe the way I said it came out harsh? I want the best for her and everyone:-) Thanks Jimi
Hey my Good Friends we've all been there in one way or another lets not beat her up let's Lift her by Encouraging her with "Our" Words of Wisdom from a battle Well Fought, InDeed Kathy you need to tell your Physician the Truth, Your Dependent on Vyevanse and need Help. He/She is obligated to Help you especially in this situation "Do no harm." Is in the Physicians code of ethics The Father of medicine quoted these words Himself, Hippocrates, are you taking the medicine as prescribed for ADHD? Because it is a highly Addictive amphetamine and has a huge potential for Abuse as your prescribing Physician should know. That being said your in my heart felt Prayers and Blessings to overcome your Dependency

That is addict behavior! Have you considered that? DITTO the above post
Along with being highly addicting, Vyvanse is a drug that patients build a tolerance towards. Did you discuss with your doctor that the present dose doesn't work for you anymore? Altering a script is illegal and both your pharmacist and physician are obligated to report you to the authorities. You'll have some legal matters to resolve. When the time comes, you'll need the help of a lawyer.
