Withdrawals

Omg....I am on day 5 of going cold turkey because my Dr. stopped my medication due to a false negative **** test. I was taking 4 no. 10 norco a day. Took them for 4 years. Never had a false negative test result until now. How much longer will these legs cramps and body pains last? What can I expect next?

Oh ya and what Danny said, usually the insomnia and lack of enery can last awhile longer. I was well into a month before I could sleep at all. I did take melatonin though too. It doesn't work right away it takes time to work it's self up in your system. It's a natural sleep remedy. Also you could have some "paws" deppresion, lack of emotions.because you were on them for so long. I go to AA Meetings. I have for the past 8 months. It helps me emencly

You're already on the downside.  Each day will get slightly better starting today.  By the 11-12-13th days you'll hardly be feeling any physical symptoms.  The last thing to return to normal is the ability to get a good nights sleep.

It's hard to give you a specific time. Usually it can be any where from 5-10 days. But everyone is different. Take hot Epsom salt baths,as many as possible. Try and stay active,I know that's easier said than done. But it really will heal you mentally and physically faster than just laying down watching time drag by. How's your pain you were taking the meds for?

Hey Sandra Ik exactly what your going through. I'm going threw withdrawals myself and there hell! I was taking 30mg of roxy for a year. It shouldn't last u but 5 to 7 days which is what most have told me. I'm on day 6 but I set myself back by doing 5mgs Saturday so it prolonged my w/ds. You should start feeling better by tomorrow. I hope u feel better and we can get through this together. Eat lots of bananas they have seen to help me with RLS  an hot baths completely take the pain away while your in there do if u need a break sit in a hot tub for a while.
