Please Help

I've been on oxycontin for 13 years for medical reasons. I forgot to get my script filled dr. is out of town and i have not had any since mon. 6pm. i m freaking out i have severe diarrhea, pains in my stomach anxiety is huge huge huge. I have no other narcotics to take. what can i do??? Please help

Thank you all for your help. I was able to get my script written by another doc in the practice. I will never let this happen again. I was so sick driving to get the script it was horrible. My doctors don't want me to go off this drug because it really comes down to quality of life. If I don't take the oxycontin I am unable to function because of tremendous pain from Scleroderma and Avascular Necrosis in several joints.

Just curious if you are interested in getting off thej OC's.  IF so you have tons of help here on the forums!!  You already have it half way done!

she probably cannot get it filled because her doctor is out of town.....

oxy prescriptions have to be written and picked up at the doctor's office by that doctor.  they cant ever call them in , etc   so im assuming if her dr is outa town, she will have to wait until he gets back monday to write it for her and her go pick it up!

Have you have gone through w.d before? I mean, I almost can't believe you forgot. Not to sound mean. I am sure you must have tons going on. I was also an OXy user, and the w.d is pure hell. Im so sorry you are going through this. Why can't you just go get it filled right now?? I mean, if you have it and forgot, why not go get it now??

It takes 2 days to get out of your system, you will have cold/hot chills, take a hot bath for that, upset stomach and diaherra, get  immoduim. remember to drink plenty of fluids. can you go to the emegency room? and see if they can help. maybe call the dr on call? I take oxy also for medical reasons, never let them run out, I know its too late to say that now but the next day is gonna feel like h*** to you. try the ER or dr on call first.

there is nothing you can do. Why are you out? Do you take more then you should?? Im sorry to say there isn't anything you can do but wait to get a refill...Get immodium...
