Hi everyone - a big part of withdrawals that I hate is calf cramps (and foot/side of shin/front of shin muscle cramps), but especially calf cramps because my whole lower leg would just lock up in rigour, and inevitably it happens when I was getting those few hours of precious sleep - I am sure you all know the drill.
Here is a bizzare and almost instant relief for calf cramps - NOT foot/shin, but calf - I did not believe it when i read it, but it has worked twice for me already: when it hits, pinch your philtrum (the vertical groove below your nose and above your upper lip), and the cramp dissolves in a matter of 30 seconds or less. I just put my thumb inside my mouth, my index finger on the philtrum, and squeeze really hard, and the cramp goes. Unfortunately it doesnt work for other cramps, but hey, just this is brilliant. I truly thought it was an old wives tale, but apparently not.
I do wonder how someone discovered this though... such a random thing. Hope this helps someone
