can cops arrest just BC a neighbor accuse u of taking his opiates

the cops came to my door I did not answer 2 days straight but now I am very paranoid as what to do,i had a nosy neighbor tell me the reason was a neighbor that I had visited looking for my dog 2 weeks earlier had called cops and accused me of stealing her oxycod.i did not take them but I was in her house for 10 minutes~what should I do? can they arrest me just on her suspicion,there is no video or anything and should I say I was in her apartment or not? and could they take fingerprints to see I was in her apartment? but I did not take anything I didn't even have any pockets on I had shorts with a tank and was sweating looking for my dog and she invited me in and talked my ear off. please please tell me what I should do~the cops left no note to call them or anything I just happen to be home when they came,they never came back same day,but next morning at 9 am they came again and bammed on door 5 minutes then left,does it sound like this is serious? if they had a warrant wouldn't they come back more than just 1 time a day> ?? please help me ? I am so nervous bcause this woman is a preachers wife and I am afraid she has pull but she is lying,on my grandfathers grave I did not take those pills.also can they prove I was in her place if I say I was not? like do fingerprints or would that be crazy to do for them thank you so much

Hey Dave They can not arrest you on her word alone but they can mess with your probation although you need to be accused and arrested for them to revoke our come up dirty. You need to answer the door and tell them you took no pills.. They would not finger print the house although if you were in there it was still your word against hers unless she has video. You say you did not take them you are clean so you have nothing to fear but judgement. The longer you stall the more guilty you look in their eyes. I would get this behind me as it is bull if this happened to me.. Let me know how things turn out. We can not run. this is a old active habit..  warm hugs lesa

For someone who claims they are innocent you sound awfully guilty.  If you didnt do it quit hiding.  I would want to make damn sure i cleared my name.  Also if you havent talked to the police how do you know this is what it is about?  I hope you found your dog~

Were you in the ladys house or not? If you were inside, which it seems you were, why pie and say you weren't? Also don't be so sure that there weren't any cameras. Cameras are everywhere these days and they're dirt cheap. Just tell the truth and let the chips fall where the chips fall

Getting clean.....you don't have to worry about this **** anymore!  If you didn't take these pills then go to the police station yourself....or answer the damn door?  If you have nothing to hide.....DON'T HIDE!
